Hey! Nice recipes! I’m a super fan of mango so I think I’m definitely going to be a fan of that Silky Mango mixture you have.

  • lifewithnature

I love to add mango to smoothies. It makes them super smooth and add thickness, not to mention the great taste! :)

  • Jacquie

I have tried every single one of these… and they are sooo delicious! Thank you!

Do you drink these in place of a meal?

  • http://alyseanderson.blogspot.com/ Alyse

These look fantastic! I am really excited to try the dessert one (I have a bit of a sweet tooth :) ).  Have you ever swapped cacao powder for the cocoa powder?  Since it seems like there is some sweetness with the maple syrup, the cacao would add a LOT of antioxidants to yours delicious creation.

  • Ebk9291

    The Avocado mango is delicious!

  • Tam

how often should you drink these?

  • Victoria

So do u drink all 5 in one day?

  • http://www.buzzfarmers.com/ @amaaanda

It would seem that these are too high in sugar/carbs to be belly-busting, except for possibly the choco0raspberry because raspberries are lower. Would love to see some nutrition facts to help decide which works right for my diet. :)

  • Darren Chittick

I agree. There is SOOO much sugar in these.

  • Kelsey

these all seem really amazing! However I am allergic to bananas, which is an ingredient in most smoothies. Would it make that big of a difference if I didn’t use them? Or maybe there is another fruit that would mix just as good!

  • Krissy

Kelsey-I am not a fan of all the sugar in bananas so I use nonfat plain greek yogurt instead in my smoothies. I don’t miss them at all.

  • Alysonfort

    WAY too much sugar!

  • Buckenmyerj

It is so simple to figure it out yourself. Why should someone else do it for you?

  • JeannineB

Wonderful recipes, good for you ingredients, high in antioxidants and delicious. Thanks for sharing

I love the ones with mango and blueberries! Yummie and so healthy!!!

  • stee

I don’t like bananas in smoothies. The flavor overpowers everything else. Like Krissy I always use greek yogurt and a little 2% milk. Ups the protein and calcium.

  • stee

they should post the nutritional info because they are claiming these recipes are healthy.

  • Sarah

They are all high in naturally occurring sugars in the fruit which are good for you…not refined sugars. I always add spinach to my fruit smoothies to get added nutrition…looks weird but you cant taste the spinach!

  • Brigitte

As a nutritionist and low-carb aficionado, these are all pretty low in sugar, aside from the 1 tbs maple syrup–the jury is still out on natural unrefined sweeteners, but maple syrup is refined and concentrated. As long as you buy almond milk without sugar, almond butter without sugar, you’ll be fine.

Another good tip: Riper bananas taste sweeter because they ARE sweeter. The fiber breaks down into sugar and oil as it ripens, but if you eat them greener you body digests too fast to “ripen” them and just gets more fiber. More fiber = thicker shake, less net carbs. Go for Green!

  • CMcGowan

I’m trying to figure out why people are commenting on the sugar. It’s fruit – it’s not HFCS. Natural sugar is not bad for you. All of these seem quite nutritionally sound.

  • CMcGowan

    That’s what I thought…

  • Tina

You can also try avocado in place of bananas in a lot of recipes.

  • Marie

I hold a masters degree in exercise science and nutrition…. like many others I am confused by the comments that there are too much sugar in these shakes. Natural sugar is not the same as artificial sugar. Fruits are good for you, natural fat is good for you, complex carbs are good for you. If you cut these things out you will not be as healthy and lean in the long run.

  • Mabel Davis

Cant wait to try these. I’m no expert on nutrition but how can people say to much sugar. Yeah fruits have sugar but its natural not the white refined sugar people add to everything

  • http://www.serendipit-e.com/blog Chris Boese

Calories from natural sugars are calories just the same. It is very easy with smoothies to DRINK your entire daily recommended calories. Also, from a diabetes standpoint, fruit sugars go into your bloodstream EVEN FASTER than other sugars.

Just tried the silky mango….. yummo! Can’t wait to try the rest of the smoothies :)

  • ck123045

Wow very looks delicious! I trying to get into shape but I am not there yet. And what keeps me going is a great diet smoothie after my workouts it is so refreshing.

  • http://todays-beautytips.com/ Alex

I drink a low calorie smoothie every day it is a great addition to my beauty regimen. Healthy food along with a great skin care daily regimen will keep you looking young.

While these look and sound great, the food combing is amiss for good health. Fruits & veggies together other than an apple, not good in my 41 years of experience. All that sugar is another issue.

  • Goodkarmagirl

Thank you so much! These are fantastic! The sugar is all natural! Keeping it clean is the key!

Because some of us don’t know how to figure that information ourselves?

  • disqus_uAGUF2borC

at one point, I was vegan. I ate LOTS AND LOTS of fruit. I also ate lots of veggies and made sure to get my recommended carbs and proteins in. I was a 00 (yes double zero) and weighed 100 lbs. I was 5’2. The sugar in fruit is NOT BAD. It amazes me how many people say “stay away from fruit on a diet”. Also, I had lost 100 lbs at that point (eating lots of fruit) so it was not like I had always been skinny.

  • Priya Sharma

Hello Marie M Priya from India Chandigarh i agree with your comment

bt i also want to lose belly fat bt don’t know how

  • Cindy

Fresh juice is so good for you….. Detoxing is even better for the body…….. Just remember everything in moderation…….. A little fresh friut with fresh greens carry little calories….. but remember even a lot of fresh fruit when eating with carbs will turn to fat…….people that lost weight on fruit diets did so
because that is primarily all they ate, it is a good way to detox and clease the body.

  • Lori

These are great… healthy drinks… normal portions of fruit… I wouldn’t drink 5 of them in a day… or chow down on bananas all day either… lol I’ll make them for sure… modifying the syrup and I always use unsweetened almond milk… I’m diabetic
I understand what they mean about the sugar, though. Yes, it is definitely healthier to get your sugar from fruit… however… exactly like any sugar… in moderation. In many people, fruit sugar raises blood sugar levels very quickly, exactly the same way as refined white sugar… that’s why diabetics drink juice if they feel faint from low levels.
Some fruit drinks have a lot of calories… just like candy or a chocolate bar and can cause weight gain if you over do it. It doesn’t matter what the source of the sugar is, it can be a lot of calories if you drink too many… and it goes into the blood stream. That doesn’t mean it isn’t healthy for most… and even for diabetics in moderation… I have to eat non-sugary stuff with mine… salad…. veggies… I like adding chia or flax… and can only have 2 “fruity” drinks a day. I’ve been able to stay off medication for many years by watching my diet carefully… my tip is to always eat more veggies than fruit… :) and don’t drink all your calories!

  • moni

Can you still take that even if u will breast feed??

  • debbie

google it! there is a website to figure calories and nutrition for you!

  • debbie

google to find nutrition facts. You can not gain weight or get fat eating fresh fruit. It is impossible.

  • elena

Hello, I am Italian…is there anyone who can help me with a legend or key to understand abreviations? like tbsp… thank you!
